FISHERY REPORT

MOLANDS It was a little slower this week with the winning match weights around the 80lb mark. Carp are being caught across to the island on pellet feeder and straight lead. There have also been some decent catches of carp and F1’s on pellet waggler across to the island. F1’s have been caught on pole and pellet at 10 – 13 metres but again less likely to come up in the water and more at full depth. Best areas have been pegs 2, 4, 8 – 15, 21, 27 – 29, 39 – 46 and 56 – 60.

GEARYS Gearys has again fished well to the straight lead and 8mm pellet and has produced the majority of winning weights. Back up weights of mixed catches were up to 60lb, made up of skimmers, carp and crucians on pole tactics. Best pegs have been 1, 9,

11 – 13, 16, 19, 20 – 24, 27, 30 and 37.

LITTLE GEARYS Fishing well to pole and pellet at 10 – 13 metres both on the deck and up in the water and pellet feeder to the island. Bigger baits such as meat and corn fished in the margins late on are also producing good weights. Best pegs are 1, 3, 5, 7, 10 – 15, 21 and

25 – 28.

GRATUITIES Grats has been fishing slower than of late with pole tactics at 10 – 13 metres catching crucians and the odd carp. Pellet waggler and feeder to the island also taking carp.

ANNIVERSARIES Pole tactics at 10 – 13 metres best with weights to 50lb best on pellet fished on the deck. Best pegs 1 – 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 17 and, 21 – 23.

SIBLINGS A & B Pole fished to the island on A has been taking the better sized carp and pole and pellet have been taking the best weights on B.
