MOLANDS   Molands has been fishing very well this week although the cold nights at the weekend saw a drop in sport.  Plenty of decent sized carp are showing with fish from 4 – 10lb coming to the pellet feeder with banded hard pellet or meat on the hook.  Shallow fishing is becoming more productive with either a pellet waggler or long pole and pellet accounting for bags of F1’s to 4lb in catches to 80lb+.  Best areas have been pegs 2 – 6, 12, 17 – 21, 29 – 32, 42 – 48 and 56 – 60.

GEARYS   Restocked with a large number of carp, many of which were around the double figure mark.  Pleasure anglers have enjoyed the best sport with catches to over 100lb reported and match weights were to 100lb in Saturday’s Open.  Corn or pellet on the pole has been the best approach fishing close in down the margins.  Method feeder fished to the middle stumps is also accounting for a few fish.  Best pegs are 6 – 15, 19 – 21 and 31 – 36.

LITTLE GEARYS   In great form this week with match weights to over 70lb and fish being caught on all pegs.  Shallow pole and pellet or pellet waggler is the top approach but good nets are coming to corn or pellet fished down the margins and pellet/method feeder to the island.  Top pegs are 1, 7, 9 – 11 and 25 – 29.

RATUITIES   Like all the other pools, Gratuities has been in top form throughout the week with some cracking nets of carp in the main but tench, skimmers and crucians also showing.  Carp to double figures have been caught with pellet waggler or corn fished down the margins accounting for the better bags.  Top pegs 1, 4, 9, 15 and 16.

WILLOW   The high numbered pegs have been fishing best this week with 10 – 13 providing good nets of carp fishing down the margins with corn, worm or big expander pellets.  F1’s and the smaller carp are still coming to the pellet feeder fished tight up to the island with 1 – 5 fishing best to these.

ANNIVERSARIES   Lots of crucians and F1’s are showing on the early pegs 1 – 6 in the big bay at the top end.  Pellet, caster or maggot fished over ground bait or micros is the best approach for mixed catches.
