FISHING REPORT

MOLANDS The much milder weather saw an improvement in the fishing with match weights to 70lb + and decent nets from around the pool . Carp to 20lb , f1s to 8lb bream to 5lb and tench to 4lb all featured in catches last week.. Bomb or waggler with pellet ,method feeder to the island and pole with pellet or maggot have seen the better catches in the matches. Carp anglers had fish to 20lb on popped up boilies with pegs 19-25 and 43-48 the best area.

GEARYS Much better this week with carp to 19lb featuring in nets to nearly 100lb with Method feeder or bomb or waggler and pellet working well ,late on in the matches fishing down the margins with corn over micros has been good for the bigger carp. Carp anglers have caught well on popped up boilies fished over a pva bag out to the middle stump area.

LITTLE GEARYS Fished a little up and down this week with nets of F1s and carp in catches to over 80lb on the better days. Pole fished maggot or pellet , small method or banjo feeder and bomb with pellet or bread have been the top tactics. Pegs 9-19 or 27-30 have been the form pegs

GRATUITIES The carp have started to have a go with bomb or pole with bread or small pellet/method feeder working best. There have been nice nets of silvers with some quality roach and skimmers coming to maggot or pinkies on the pole.

ANNIVERSARIES The open water in the middle of the pool has been the best area with pegs 6, 16 – 19 and 23 all producing F1s and small carp to bomb/waggler with pellet or wafter. There have been plenty of silvers coming to pole and maggot as well on the other areas.

SIBLINGS A Fished really well in areas with nets to over 80lb caught this week with good sized carp and f1s making up the bulk of the catches. Pole fished maggot or pellet down the middle of the pool has been the best tactic but dobbing bread or corn along the island or in the margins has also been working well.

SIBLINGS B The end of the point from pegs 7 – 11 has been the best area with nets to over 75lb coming to pole fished pellet or maggot and dobbing bread across to the far bank.

WILLOW Fished a lot more consistent this week with carp and f1s showing well to a variety of tactics from all around the pool. Bomb or waggler with banded hard 6mm pellet , pole fished maggot ,corn or pellet or a small method feeder to tight to the island have all worked well.
