MOLANDS Generally fished a little harder this week with match weights to just over 100lb best with pegs 1-12,19-25,43-48 and 52-56 the more consistent areas. Method feeder with wafters or dead maggot on the hook fished tight across has been the top tactic for carp and f1s but shallow pole and pellet/caster or down the margins with corn or dead maggot has also been working. Carp to 23lb were caught this week with lots of upper doubles being caught particularly in late evening or overnight sessions with Cell or Active 8 boilies working well fished across to the island.

GEARYS Went a little patchy for the carp with pegs 13-18 the best area and weights to 100lb+ in matches were caught from around that area with the other pegs still producing a few fish but not in the same numbers. Bomb or pellet waggler with 8mm pellet has worked best with method feeder and long pole with 6 or 8mm pellet also catching in the matches. Carp anglers have reported fish to 22lb with boilies fished with a PVA bag doing well now.

LITTLE GEARYS Still in good form with big F1s showing all around the pool with some nice carp to 18lb also featuring in catches. Pole with pellet or caster fished shallow on the jigga has been the top tactic fished out at 11-14m but method feeder to the island ,waggler with 6mm pellet and down the edges with maggot ,pellet or paste also accounting for some big nets.

ANNIVERSARIES Nets to around 70lb were caught this week with f1s to 5lb showing on most pegs . Bomb or waggler in the open water fishing banded 6mm pellet on the hook accounted for the better nets but pole fished caster or pellet fished shallow also worked well.

SIBLINGS A Nets to 90lb this week with carp to 15lb and f1s to 6lb being caught on long pole up to the island with corn or dead reds over groundbait, down the middle with caster or hard pellet fished shallow or on the deck and along the margins with corn or worm. Best pegs have been from 15- 21.

SIBLINGS B F1s in the 1-4lb range were showing well this week with caster, pellet or maggot fished shallow the top tactic with paste or meat fished short a good alternative. Dobbing produced some better sized carp with fish to double figures coming to this.

GRATUITIES Carp have been showing better with fish to 15lb featuring in catches and corn or dead maggot fished down the margins has worked well and a small feeder or pellet waggler to the island also producing. Nice bags of silvers still coming out with skimmers, roach, perch and chub responding to maggot or caster over groudbait.

WILLOW Fishing well with lots of tactics working at the moment including waggler or feeder fished up to the island for carp and f1s to 5lb, shallow pole with caster or pellet for f1s and down the margins with corn, meat or pellet for bigger carp with fish to 17lb coming to this
