FISHING REPORT
MOLANDS   Still fishing very patchy but the F1’s have fed better and there were match weights to 150lb caught this week.  The carp are showing all over the pool and double figure fish have come to the surface baits or dobbing pellets in front of them.  Pole and pellet fished at 5 metres or out to 14 metres is probably the most consistent method at the moment catching a mixture of F1’s, skimmers and crucians.  Top pegs have been 4, 10 – 19, 21, 27 – 31, 40 – 46 and 55 – 60.

GEARYS   This pool is in the best form of the year so far with a new lake record match weight of 205lb 11oz the highlight of a good week on Gearys.  Carp to nearly 20lb have featured in catches with straight lead and pellet or worm/corn fished down the margins the best tactics for them.  There have been some excellent nets of skimmers and crucians with bags to nearly 100lb on paste or worm/caster fished over ground bait.  Best pegs are 7 – 11, 15 – 20, 23, 29, 31 and 36.
LITTLE GEARYS   In incredible form this week with many 100lb+ bags topped by a 229lb catch caught during the Festival.  The bigger weights were caught on pellet fished shallow and sloppy ground bait with F1’s to 7lb falling to this.  Pellet feeder and pellet waggler also caught lots of fish this week.  The pool has been fishing well all round but the hot pegs have been 5, 11, 15, 21 and 25.
GRATUITIES   Fishing well with lots of crucians coming to float fished pellet and caster and carp are being caught on pellet waggler or off the top on dog biscuit or bread.  Best pegs have been on the far side from 9 – 15.
WILLOW   Always very popular, anglers have enjoyed good sport from carp to double figures.  F1’s from 1 – 3lb, skimmers and a few tench.  Pellet waggler or pellet feeder fished to the island is working well and the big carp are coming to meat or paste fishing down the margins.
ANNIVERSARIES   As with most of the pools, Annies has been in good form this week.  Lots of F1’s being caught from 8oz – 3lb on pole and pellet or maggot.  A few carp to double figures were caught on peg 1 the best peg for bigger fish and carp to double figures coming from it this week.
SIBLINGS A   Fishing well, particularly later in the day on the near bank margins with carp and F1’s.  Fish to 10lb have featured but plenty in the 2 – 4lb range are coming to meat or corn fished tight up to the reeds.  Caster or maggot fished shallow is producing some nice nets of ide.
SIBLINGS B   Catches to over 90lb have come off this week with pole fished pellet or paste fished down the middle the best tactic.  Carp and F1’s are providing the main action but the odd barbel and tench are also being caught.
