Last week there were 53 rods caught 67 fish for an average of 1.26.

It is still fishing very difficult at the moment with the boat anglers finding the shoals doing the best.

Mr D Bayliss had one of the best bags catching five and releasing a further two whilst fishing from a boat on Cocks Close with fish over 3lb and these all came to Buzzers fished on a floating line. Harold Lewis of Knowle fished close to the aerator from a boat on Cocks Close and he managed to tempt five fish to 3lb 8oz again using small Buzzers on a floating line. Dave Bratby of Birmingham fished the bank of Cocks Close and caught four fish to 4lb on DLL fished dry.

On the Park Meadow pool, Clive Squires of Coventry had five fish which came to black Buzzers whilst fishing from a boat.

Imitative patterns accounted for most fish caught this week with Buzzers, Diawl Bach, Crunchers and Pheasant Tail the pick of the Nymphs.

The lodge corner and the old boat jetty area on Cocks Close have been best. On Park Meadow, the far bank from the boat jetty is best.

A further restocking will take place this week and hopefully this will see the fishing switch on.
