Andy drew peg 9 sheltered from the wind he fished the pole and paste out at 9m catching from the start he landed 42 carp – 8lb finishing well in the lead with 131lb 10oz. With the rest of the anglers struggling to present their baits Carl Brown was the best of the rest at peg 24 he fished the pole and paste short on the top two + two for 20 carp – 10lb.

Andy fished the pole and pellet out on two lines at 13m feeding 4mm hard pellet to keep the fish interested landing 48 carp – 8lb for a total of 136lb 3oz. In second place Mick fished the pole and 6mm soft pellet at 6 + 11m at peg 27 landing 33 carp – 6lb steady through the match finishing with 120lb 3oz. 3rd, 4th, and 5th placed anglers all weighed in over 100lb with all anglers weighing in with 33lb 10oz being the lowest weight.
