The strong wind made it hard to present any bait but Roger Edmund caught fishing the pole out at 12m when there was a lull in the wind landing 16 carp – 7lb in his 51lb 4oz catch, making his long trip from Hull better, he drew out his peg number for an extra £100. In 2nd place Carl fished the pole and pellet out at 14m on the edge of the sheltered big bay on peg 19 for a late run of carp – 9lb.
