What a difference a week makes the carp finished spawning and got their heads down, Ian fished the pole and paste out at 12m and the pole and a bunch of maggots fished down the margins landing 155lb 7oz of carp – 9lb. Second went to Martyn Brown and 3^rd to John Woodland both fishing the pole and paste out for carp – 9lb and the final ton went to Lee Parker with 127lb 15oz of carp caught on the pole and pellet over a big pot of pellets.

Mick fished the pole and caster for 15lb of Ide and skimmers but was foul hooking carp so a change to a heavier rig and double corn he landed 17 carp -12lb and a massive 94lb 7oz. Second was Fred Bispham also having a net of carp – 9lb on the pole and pellet fished out and down the margin for 67lb 4oz.

John fished the pole and paste out at 12m and later down the margins landing carp – 6lb steady all match weighing in 91lb 1oz. In second Danny fished a pellet feeder  and corn cast tight to the island at peg 36, he was kept busy by landing carp – 4lb and finishing with 80lb 7oz.
