REPORT
Match 9 for the Richardson Cup was a joint match with Soldiers and Sailors, fished at Robinwood Fishery.
Brain Leafe put in another virtuoso performance from peg 9 to land 59 lb 11 oz of carp for a clear win, with Carl Henrick (peg 11) filling second spot with a 34 lb of carp and ide.  Paul Skinner (peg 10) and Paul Marriott (peg 8) filled the next two spots with 23 lb 10 oz and 22 lb 10 oz, edging out Jake Hemmings’s 22 lb 4 oz from peg 21.
At the midway point in the Championship, Carl Henrick has moved into the lead with 123 points ahead of the reigning champion Dave Kent (105 points).  Jake Hemmings is next with 104 points, John Adamson on 102 and Paul Richardson on 98.
Match 10 is on Boddington Reservoir on 11 October.
