Fox has teamed up with Lewis Murawski, creator of Lewis’s Angling Academy and owner of Anglers World Norwich in a deal worth thousands of pounds.

Murawski has received substantial backing for his newly created fishing Academy due to the ‘overwhelming response’ it has created in just two months, after an initial marketing strategy targeting Tourist Information spots and local Post Offices proved highly successful.

The backing, which is worth thousands of pounds, means every angler signing up to a minimum of a six-hour session on the Academy will receive £75 in Fox tackle.

Lewis Murawski said: “I am very proud to have such an innovative and influential company as the sponsor of the Academy – it is a dream come true. Fox are arguably the biggest name in the UK and European fishing tackle industry, and for them to put their money where there mouth is proves they are determined not only to support the grass roots of angling, but to continue to show their competitors a clean pair of heels.”

Fox were equally as pleased to sign the deal: “Lewis has already demonstrated he has what it takes to become the main point of contact for fishing tuition in the UK and we are delighted to be able to offer our support.

“He’s still only 25 yet he’s already been the editor of a market-leading fishing magazine, represented England intermediates five times and set his own tackle shop up. From our point of view we can achieve great exposure and hope to achieve a brand loyalty with many of lewis’ customers,” said Steve Cole, media and publicity manager for Fox International. “
