FISHING REPORT

MOLANDS Fished really well this week with the bigger f1s showing better along with plenty of carp including fish to over 20lbs. In the matches nets to 170lb were caught on shallow pole with caster or pellet, bomb/waggler tight up to the island and short or down the margins with hard pellet or dead maggots. Pleasure anglers have caught a lot of double figure fish off the top with dog biscuit or bread.

GEARYS In good form at the moment with carp being caught from all around the pool and fish to over 20lb in nets to 150lb+. In the matches method feeder to the middle stumps, bomb with 8mm pellet, long pole with pellet slapping or on the deck and down the margins with dead maggot over groundbait have all worked well. Pleasure anglers have caught well on boilies combined with PVA bag and off the top with dog biscuit or oily floaters.

LITTLE GEARYS Still very green but fished much better last week with the f1s feeding well and some decent carp showing as well. The f1s are coming best to shallow tactics with caster or pellet on the pole from 5m to 14.5m . The best approach for the carp is groundbait and dead maggots down the margins or tight across to the island with waggler ,bomb or method feeder. Top pegs have been 7-13 and 21-30.

GRATUITIES Carp to double figures coming to anglers fishing surface baits or shallow with pellet waggler and 8mm pellets. Later in the day, fishing down the edges has been good with carp coming to corn, paste or pellet fished over micros. Plenty of silvers and f1s coming to maggot or expander pellet floatfished down the middle.

WILLOW Still very consistent this week with carp and F1s showing well all around the pool. Long pole with pellet, dead reds or caster fishing down the margins or across to the island where you can reach has been successful. Waggler up to the island has also produced decent nets this week.

ANNIVERSARIES As with all the pools its fished better on Annies this week with nets of F1s to 100lb reported.. Pole fished caster or pellet fishing down the margins or shallow has been the best approach. Some nice carp coming to surface baits or tight to the islands on corn or paste with fish to 19lb reported this week.

SIBLINGS A As it cooled down in the week it improved the fishing and Sibs A was producing nets to 140lb by the weekend. The best approach has been to fish tight across to the island or down the margins where the F1s enjoy the cover and paste, corn, caster and pellet have all caught fish there. Shallow with pole and caster ,maggot or pellet have also been productive.

SIBLINGS B Very consistent this week with nets to 100lb and great back up weights from all pegs. Pole fished pellet /caster fished shallow or across to the far bank or near margin has been the best approach.
