FISHING REPORT

MOLANDS In good form with match weights to over 150lb this week with carp to 20lb and F1s to 10lb fishing in matches. Long pole with pellet or caster shallow, down the margins with corn, paste or pellet and across to the island with bomb or waggler and big pellets have all worked for the match anglers this week. Carp anglers have caught carp to 22lb with boilies fished across to the island or down the margins with catches of up to 20 fish this week.

GEARYS Steady this week with carp showing all around the pool with fish to around 20lb best. In the matches, bomb with pellet, method feeder and long pole with 6mm or 8 mm pellets have caught fish to around 100lb. Pleasure anglers have caught off the top with bread or dog biscuit and on the bottom with baits combined with a PVA bag.

LITTLE GEARYS Consistent sport through the week on Little Gearys with lots of F1s coming shallow to caster or pellet, down the margins on meat or pellet and across to the island with bomb or waggler. The bigger carp are coming to shallow tactics with mugging on the pole or waggler accounting for fish to 17lb this week.

GRATUITIES The known flyer pegs 1, 8, 9, 15 and 16 have all been fishing well this week with plenty of carp from 2 – 10lb being caught down the margins with corn, paste or worm working best. Good nets of silvers coming to maggot or caster over micros or ground bait.

WILLOW In good form with lots of F1s being caught shallow on the pegs that you can reach to the island with the pole and slapping a 6mm pellet right up to the island has worked really well. Carp are being caught off the top on dog biscuit or down the margins on boilies, paste or corn.

ANNIVERSARIES Nets of F1s to around 80lb best this week with caster or pellet on the pole shallow being the top tactic at the moment. Carp anglers have caught fish to 18lb with the bigger fish coming to surface tactics on dog biscuit or bread.

SIBLINGS A Still in good form with plenty of carp and F1s being caught on a variety of baits and tactics. Long pole or a small feeder across to the island with dead reds or pellet on the hook, paste down the middle or margins and caster or pellet shallow have been the most successful.

SIBLINGS B Lots of F1s being caught and a few bigger carp up to double figures. Caster or pellet shallow has been the top tactic but paste, pellet or worm down the margins or in the middle of the pool have also worked well.
