FISHING REPORT

MOLANDS Still in reasonable form with match weights to over 130lb this week with carp to 22lb and F1s to 10lb featuring in catches. Long pole with pellet or caster shallow, down the margins with corn, paste or pellet and across to the island with bomb or waggler and big pellets have still been thebest tactics for match anglers . Carp anglers have caught carp to 22lb with boilies fished across to the island or down the margins with catches of up to 30 fish this week including lots of doubles.

GEARYS A bit mixed this week with some days fishing well and the next a little tougher. In the matches, bomb with pellet, method feeder and long pole with 6mm or 8 mm pellets have caught nets to around 120lb. Pleasure anglers have caught off the top with bread or dog biscuit and on the bottom with baits combined with a PVA bag.

LITTLE GEARYS Consistent sport again through the week on Little Gearys with lots of F1s upto 5lb in nets to around 100lb coming shallow to caster or pellet, down the margins on meat or pellet and across to the island with bomb or waggler. The bigger carp are coming to shallow tactics with mugging on the pole or waggler accounting for fish to 18lb this week.

GRATUITIES The known flyer pegs 1, 8, 9, 15 and 16 have all been fishing well this week with plenty of carp from 2 – 10lb being caught down the margins with corn, paste or worm working best. Good nets of silvers coming to maggot or caster over micros or ground bait.

WILLOW In very good form with lots of F1s and carp being caught shallow on the pegs that you can reach to the island with the pole and slapping a 6mm pellet or caster right up to the island has worked really well. Down the margins with dead maggot over groudbait or pellet is also working well later in the day.

ANNIVERSARIES Nets of F1s to around 60lb best this week with caster or pellet on the pole shallow being the top tactic at the moment. Carp anglers have caught fish to 16lb with the bigger fish coming to surface tactics on dog biscuit / bread or on small boilies fished to the features at the top end of the pool on pegs 1-6

SIBLINGS A A very up and down week on Sibs A this week one day nets to 100lb and the next 30lb is good.. Long pole or a small feeder across to the island with dead reds or pellet on the hook, paste down the middle or margins and caster or pellet shallow have been the most successful.

SIBLINGS B The more consistent of the siblings pools with lots of F1s from 1-3lb being caught from all pegs. Pole with caster or pellet shallow and pellet on the deck have been the best approach this week.
