Last week 46 rods caught 200 fish for an average of 4.35 fish per rod

The Fishery is still in good form with some excellent fish being caught.

The best fish of the week was a 13lb rainbow caught and returned by Andrew Moulder of Dorridge who was fishing from a boat on Cocks Close and small Damsels fished on a floating line was his successful tactic which accounted for another 11 fish.
Paul Flanner of Kemsay also caught and returned a dozen fish including an 8lb+
rainbow and these all fell to a lime green Buzzer fished on a floating line. Tom
Dixon of Coleshill had an 8lb fish which was the best of a seven fish catch, all coming
to Suspended Buzzers while fishing from a boat on Cocks Close. Dave Bratby of
Birmingham fished from the bank of Cocks Close and caught and returned ten fish to
4lb using small black Buzzers drifted round in the wind. Mr W McCall of
Saddleworth caught eight fish including a 5lb 5oz blue trout using small Damsels from
the bank of Cocks Close.

Top flies have been Damsel, black Buzzer, Diawl Bach, Hopper, Suspended Buzzer and Cats Whisker.

The best areas have been the wires bank and the lodge corner on Cocks Close.
